The Teething Rings – Wheat Penny Bracelet Set

Long before plastic pacifiers and silver spoons, the old folks of the Deep South had a simpler charm for a child cutting their first teeth. A wheat penny would be pierced through the center, threaded on a cord, and worn around the baby’s neck to soothe the child and keep a little luck close to the breath.

Those pennies carried more than copper. They carried prayers, hard work, and the quiet belief that even the smallest coin could keep hardship at bay.

This piece is my grown-folk answer to that tradition.

The Teething Ring is a bracelet set made from genuine wheat pennies minted between 1909 and 1958. Worn at the wrist instead of the neck, these bracelets serve as charms of good fortune, steady money, and endurance through the growing pains of life.

Most of us already have our permanent teeth… but life still has a way of making us bite down hard.

Copper has long been known for drawing prosperity and conducting energy, while the wheat stamped on every penny stands as a symbol of abundance and harvest. Together they make a quiet but powerful reminder to endure, keep chewing, and let a little luck ride with you.

Each set includes two bracelets, perfect for stacking or sharing a bit of luck with someone close.

Hand assembled for the Haus of Midnite.

Sold as a curio for spiritual and decorative
